INCLUSION RUGBY
Inclusion is providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those who have physical or mental disabilities and members of other minority groups.
Our Inclusion Rugby programme is made up of participants with a wide range of physical and/or mental disabilities or limiting conditions. The team supports individuals by offering the opportunity to take part in sport in a safe and supportive environment when they may not feel comfortable doing so in other sports environments. Our participants all have a huge range of conditions and abilities.
We have Adapted Sports Coaches who have very broad skills to adapt sessions to suit the abilities of everyone attending. We welcome anyone wanting to play or try sport.
WHY INCLUSION RUGBY?
Inclusion Rugby gives players with disabilities an opportunity to learn and play Rugby in an enjoyable, safe and exciting environment.
Our Adapted Sports Coaches facilitate training sessions with the aim of showing players that Rugby is a sport for all.
We offer engaging sport sessions for those who wish to train weekly and participate in regular fixtures against other clubs.
We offer a positive social environment where sport is accessible to everyone with no exceptions, aiming to connect, inspire and support.

Our Inclusion programme supports mental health, wellbeing and fitness levels and creates opportunities for everyone to participate in sport. We truly believe sport should be accessible to everyone with no exceptions.
Participants take part in fun and engaging sport sessions and those who wish to play Rugby train weekly and participate in regular fixtures against other clubs.
Our Inclusion programme’s main objectives are to raise confidence, give people an opportunity to take part in sport in a safe environment and meet new people in a positive social environment.
