TEAM SPORT

Engaging in team sports is an excellent way to improve physical fitness. Regular participation in team sports will help to build muscle, increase bone density and improve overall stamina as well as giving you a full body work out and increase heart health. Team Sports is also a great way to get to know new people and increase social interaction.

After a bad fall and head injury I had to relearn to walk and find muscle memory, inclusion has helped me physically, as in fitness, balance and coordination things I had to relearn, mentally in confidence and thinking about how my abilities can help others as well as how I can help others. FISHING

Fishing is one of the most popular sports in the country is an excellent way to boost mental health and wellbeing. Fishing can play a major part in supporting people back to health and is also a great way to spend time in the great outdoors enjoying fresh air and the sense of peace by being next to water.

WHEELCHAIR SPORT

Wheelchair rugby is a physical sport which is fantastic for keeping you active and healthy as well as improving your upper body strength and giving participants increased independence.

Research has also shown that playing a team sport is not only good physically but mentally as well. Playing wheelchair rugby can drastically reduce stress levels and help combat depression as well as other mental health problems. Wheelchair Rugby is also fun and a great way to make new friends.
