Email NowWarriors Foundation Versus Arthritis is a community-led support programme designed to help people living with MSK conditions.
The aims of this programme are:
Information and Education:
Providing attendees with resources and guidance on managing MSK conditions, facilitated by experts from Versus Arthritis.
Physical Activity:
Hosting gentle exercise and movement sessions aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain, tailored for people with joint and musculoskeletal issues.
Social Support and Networking:
Creating a supportive space for individuals to share their experiences, build friendships, and connect with others facing similar challenges.
The sessions will be led by trained volunteers, known as “changemakers,” who will receive specialised training from Versus Arthritis to ensure they can effectively support participants.
OUTCOMES
Improved physical and mental well-being for participants, measured through pre- and post-session surveys focusing on pain management, mental health, and physical activity levels.
Strengthened community ties and reduced social isolation for individuals suffering from MSK conditions.
A sustainable volunteer-led network that continues to provide support beyond the initial 12 months.
